Members are apprised of current healthcare issues and happenings
via the society's newsletter and MHA's quarterly newsletter.
Networking & Idea Exchange
A network of communication exists in MADVS to encourage and facilitate
the sharing of ideas among members, thus serving as a resource
for one another.

Founded
in 1967, the Missouri Association of Directors of Volunteer Services
(MADVS) is one of 21 professional societies affiliated with the
Missouri Hospital Association (MHA). Each society, while under
the administrative auspices of MHA, is autonomous, having its own
bylaws, elected
officers and
programs.
Mission
It is the mission of the MADVS to promote and enhance the practice of
administrators of organized volunteer programs in a healthcare organization
by providing educational programs, networking opportunities and recognizing
service and program excellence.
Participation
As a volunteer-based organization, we need members to share their knowledge
and expertise through participation on the following committees:
